For starting one’s own family traditions?
My funds get evicted from my wallet
And in exchange, I’ll get
To see smiles exchanged between the family in my household
And the family who can’t tell how old
We were since we last shared a meal with one another
Five sisters and one brother
Seven kids, my lover, and my father
All were promised that they wouldn’t have to bother
With the bill
Just come out and fulfill
The desire for your inner youth to run free
Since dinner and lasertag is on me
And I believe it was worth every last dime
Because we all had a great time
Building and reflecting on memories shared
I just hope that everyone’s prepared
To do it all again
Because I intend to win
The go-kart race that I have planned for this November
Hopefully, we’ll continue to add more family members
As we go along
And keep this tradition going strong
