The Man Who Couldn’t Speak

Who would you like to talk to soon?

His face was mad of stone

That no person could overturn

His vocal cords were strained

Love was something that went unexplained

Actions was all he had

Longing to speak to her soon

Was hard due to her being

In her tomb

Wrapped in black

And the days of her past holding her back

She didn’t want to hear his words of wisdom

So he shut his mouth until she granted his words to come

He was the man who couldn’t speak

Not the man who couldn’t think

So each day

He planned for her storm to be at bay

Just so he could say

I Love You
