A sense of purpose
A sense of direction
Like a wave being pulled on to land
What pulls you?
Like a forceful gravity
Does the thing with four legs
Keep you grounded
Or bring you to the ground?
Where do you go?
With the things that walks on two
The house?
The car?
The job?
Like a beatbox
The heat drops
Like an icebox
And I’m where I used to be.
