Think back on your most memorable road trip.
The road less traveled on must be full of danger
Which is why I received some anger
For stopping at this diner with friends
Hostility towards me but not the money we’d spend
This is back when my years had some teen attached to its age
We experienced the first road that was tainted with rage
Never ignorant towards the danger I’m in
I told my friends let’s go before being stopped and asked if we knew what niggers and apples had in common
“They both hang from trees”
I didn’t my cool raise any degrees
Knowing that if we didn’t leave
They’d display the bare arms tucked beneath their sleeves
We were back on the road towards the next college we were touring
Nothings been more reassuring
To stay on the right path
Than facing negativity’s wrath
